Obituary of Neil Brewer

Neil R. Brewer Endicott: Neil R. Brewer, 76, Endicott, went to be with his Lord May 27, 2013. He was a very hard-working man and loved his family first of all. He was formerly in the Air Force and he rode his tractor in the Maine Memorial Day Parade for many years. He rode to honor those of his fallen comrades and brothers. He worked many years as a subcontract worker in IBM as a maintenance man. He was a former President of the Local Union 200. He was also a member of the Southern Tier Antique Gas & Steam Engine Assoc. and the Twin Tier Antique Tractor & Machinery Assoc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ethel Brewer; seven siblings; and his daughter, Cheyenne Ralston. He is survived by his faithful wife of 53 years, Lorraine (Gabriel) Brewer; and his three daughters, the lights of his life, Lorraine (Laurie) Spencer, Tanya Berish, Cindy (Brian) Gates; one brother, Mark (Carol) Brewer; and several brother and sisters-in-law; five grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Ponzi, Derek (Sara) Spencer, Kenny and Dave Ralston and Michael Anthony Gates; two great-grandchildren, Giovanni Ponzi and Blake Spencer; special nephew and nieces, Doug and Toni Hess and Susan Murray; as well as a very special friend, Bud Harrison. Funeral services will be at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott on Friday, May 31 at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Randy Brown of Community Bible Church will officiate. Family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home preceding the service.
