Obituary of Lois C. Harvey
Lois C. Harvey of Vestal
Lois C. Harvey, of Vestal, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Wilson Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Clarence Rose; her husband, Thomas J. Harvey; her sister, Irene Moore; and her nephew, William F. Moore Jr. She is survived by her sister, Claire and Art Tetreault; her nephew, Tom and Ilona Tetreault; her nieces, Linda Tetreault, Lois Tetreault and Christie White, Lauren Tetreault and Patricia Sands, and Jo-Ann Moore; great-nieces and nephews, Linda and James Corley, Jeffrey and Donna Moore, and Kevin and Mary Moore; great-nieces and nephews, Zara Rose and Coletrane Tetreault, Alexandra and Genevieve Puleo; her Godchild, Kathleen and William Angel; and all the members of the Hayes family; several great-great-nieces and nephews. Lois's two greatest loves in her life were her family and her faith. Her strong faith was demonstrated as a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Vestal. She walked daily and was an avid golfer and bowler, and also enjoyed swimming aerobics. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels
Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal, with a Mass to follow at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 157 Clark St., Vestal, with Father John P. Putano officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive their friends Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The family wishes to send a special thanks to the staff of Wilson memorial Hospital, ICU, for their kindness and excellent care.
