Obituary of Gary D Rossi

Gary D Rossi, 72, of Vestal, passed away unexpectedly on March 22nd. He was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Rossi (Pitcher), father, John Rossi and his beautiful wife Sovila Rossi. He is survived by his daughter Andrea Rossi, (Donald Titus), son Mark Rossi, his grandson Jackson, his sister, Sharon Rossi and special niece Jennifer Cass. Also Mary Evans-Sheriff, (Joseph Sheriff), and Tina Evans. He also cherished his Aunt Carla and Uncle Bill. Susan Welsh was a close family friend and dad wouldn't let anyone else cut his hair except Sue. Dad served in the Air Force and was active in the Vietnam War. He loved going to the Casinos to gamble with his family over the years. Dad and mom's favorite place to go of all time was Niagara Falls. Dad was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed the local hockey and baseball. He was also a big fan of the New York Giants, New York Mets, New York Rangers and The Knicks. Dad enjoyed the role of being a papa and anyone who saw him with Jackson could see that right away. Jackson was his buddy and no one could keep them apart. We would like to thank some of the special people who attended to dad during his time in the hospital. All of the Dr's and nurses that he saw during his time there were all so friendly and kind. Upon dad's request there will not be a service. We are honoring his wishes. Always make sure you hold the good memories you had with him close to your heart.
