David and I were very good friends in grade school and high school. I would pick him up almost every morning in my ‘49 Chev and off we would go for a cup of coffee and a cigarette. Then it was off to school. After lunch we would sneak out of study hall and drive to a local service station for a coke. Our biggest achievement was builting a small shortwave radio in my dad’s shed and listening to the repeating ping from Russia’s Sputnik. Goodbye old friend. God’s speed. Vernon James

I am so thankful that Kathi, Dale, Jennifer and I were able to be with you when you received your Angel wings. We have shed SO many tears over the last couple of months but through all of this have been able to lean on each other for comfort and support. Above all, I am thankful that you are no longer in pain. I love you so much and I know that one day we will see each other again.
