I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Howard. I always enjoyed seeing/talking with Howard where ever it was . The early day's at OFA or the the Apalachian sweet shop and years later at the senior citizen center in Owego . I so much remember the times when he and his buddy Charlie Kuhlman would show up at my desk at in IBM Owego . Being a car guy and in the very early days owning a couple of 57 Chevys among lots of other stuff . The 3 of us had lots to talk about . Howard and Charlie were great guys who I looked up. Honest ,hard working ,salt of the earth men.
RIP in Hot Rod Heaven David G. Boland Owego Village Justice

Uncle Howdy was one of the sweetest kindest talented & smartest men I’ve ever known. Even though we lived so far away he found time to call me recently. We spoke just a few minutes but was able to catch up on life. I know now what a special gift it was. I told him I still have the Herkimer diamond he gave me when I was a child. And how special it was that he took time to show me his rock collection back then and that I’ve cherished it all these years. After the call we exchanged emails with pictures of our cars. I was so proud of the amazing job he did on his 57 Chevy. I love you Uncle Howdy I’m sure the gate’s of Heaven opened wide for you. You’ll be in my heart forever. ♥️ Donna Lu

HOWARD M. SEYMOUR
And the Lord Says; Be prepared to let go of anything I take from you,
But Never Let Go of My Hand
IN LOVING MEMORY
What would I give to clasp his hand?
His happy face to see.
To hear his voice, and see his smile,
That meant so much to me
I will think of him in silence,
His name I will oft recall,
But there's nothing left to answer
But his picture on the wall.
Surrounded by friends I am lonesome,
In the midst of my joys, I am blue;
A smile on my face but a heartache inside
Longing, SWEETHEART~DAD~GPA for you.
The rolling stream of Life goes on,
But still the vacant chair
Reminds me of the fact and smile of
A SPECIAL LOVED ONE…who once sat there.

To Emily and familly, I know there are no words that will lessen the pain of this loss but Howard will be remembered for always being happy and such a sweet person. Bill and Howard used to love discussing old cars and going to car shows and that's a great memory. Sending hugs and love to you. Maria Shaughnessy

My thoughts, love and prayers go out to Emily and her children. Howard was a special kind of guy who never met a stranger. He always held a special spot in my Mom - Margaret's - heart, so he became a special cousin of ours, too! I know God welcomed him home with open arms and I hope all who loved him find solace in that.
