Condolences to the family. Very nice woman and my former Scout leader. (Never forget those delicious cookies) Over the years, as a neighbor I would stop in to visit occasionally and she was very welcoming.

I only have nice memories of Mrs. Pecen in the old neighborhood on Cafferty. She was always kind, and took the time to talk to us, even though we were children. Condolences to her family, I’m sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Bertha as a smart, witty, beautiful person. I took care of her for almost two years, and I can definitely say that we had our fair share of laughs and good times. She was one of the most kind women I’ve ver met. But when you made her mad.. you were in trouble! Rest In Peace Bertha, you were an amazing person! Thank you for all that you taught me.
