Uncle David always was in the forefront of musical technology. When I was in sixth grade he presented me with his used record player that played 45s and a small valise full of records. I’m not sure why I was the lucky person to get them but I felt pretty cool. One of the songs was “Who Wears Short Shorts” lol
He no doubt had moved on to something new. (What was next-Eight Track Tapes?)
He was our family reunion music man and we will all miss him so much. I know that while he will be greatly missed, Uncle David is joyfully reuniting with loved ones who have gone before. Among others, he will be getting to know his father who passed away when he was young.
Tell Grandma hello from all of us. We’ll see you on the flip side.
